Itineraries
Day 1
Hanoi: Arrival into the capital city
Your unforgettable Vietnam travel adventure begins as you arrive in Hanoi.
Upon your arrival at the International airport in Hanoi, be greeted and driven directly to your hotel in comfort. After check-in at reception, take a moment to relax and freshen up from your travels. The rest of your day is free time. Whether you choose to go shopping in the busy Old Quarter, walk on the colourful and busy streets of the city, or go out and enjoy the unique character of Hanoi, this will be your time. If you decide to visit some of the fabulous sights available, you could consider Cat Ba National Park, West Lake, Huong Tich Cave, which is all part of the hallowed area of The Perfume Pagoda. Once you have seen it all and done all you wanted to do, it is time to retire to your hotel for an overnight rest.

Day 2
Hanoi: Enjoy sightseeing
Discover Hanoi’s Cultural Riches with This Thoughtfully Planned Vietnam Tour Itinerary
Your day will start off with a delicious breakfast before hitting the streets to see Hanoi's must-see sites. Your guided city tour starts with Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, the Presidential Palace, Uncle Ho's House on Stilt, the One Pillar Pagoda, and Ho Chi Minh Museum. Your tour guide will explain the stories and historical context that tells us about Vietnam's rich heritage while we see the complex. Around mid-day we will have a fairly good lunch to re-fuel.
After lunch, your Vietnam tour will continue will a visit to Vietnam Museum of Ethnology or Bat Trang Ceramic Village. We will visit both sites which will give you a great understanding of the country's ethnic diversification, as well as artistic craftsmanship. We will also visit the temples of Literature Quoc Tu Giam, and Ngoc Son Temple. End your day with a visit to the famous Water Puppet Show if time allows, then settle in for a relaxing overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 3
Hanoi: A day at exceptional attractions
Enjoy Nature and Wildlife during your Vietnam Tour
After a healthy breakfast to get your day started, you will spend the day exploring the nature of Vietnam. Your tour will continue to Cuc Phuong National Park, formally established in 1960 as Vietnam's first nature reserve. First, you will visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre, a not-for-profit charity, dedicated to the rehabilitation, breeding, and reintroduction of rare and threatened primate species and their natural habitats.
After the Centre visit, you will head off to Park Central which is one of the highlights inVietnam. While there, you will be able to visit the Cave of Early Man, an archaeological site with significant evidence of prehistoric human occupation over thousands of years. A delicious lunch will be served out of a traditional house on stilts and you will have the opportunity to experience the "local" style. If you are still keen, enjoy a short trek into the wooded trails of the national park, immersing yourself in the beauty of the scenery and engaging with the wildlife. After an invigorating nature day, return to your hotel for the night.
Day 4
Halong Bay: Enjoy amidst exotic expanses

Start your day with a delicious breakfast before checking out from your hotel. Today, your Vietnam journey takes you to the breathtaking Halong Bay, where unforgettable memories await. Upon arrival, board a luxury cruise that will serve as your floating home for the night. Enjoy a delightful lunch on board as the cruise sails through emerald waters toward the majestic Sung Sot Cave, also known as Surprise Cave — a stunning natural wonder included in your Halong Bay tour.

Hanoi: Fun onboard and back to the capital
Begin a New Chapter of Your Vietnam Trip as You Head to Sapa
Your morning on the cruise starts with an invigorating Tai Chi class or a photo hunt to document the bays morning glow. After you enjoy breakfast andare ready for your day ahead, you will enjoy a kayaking trip around the peaceful Bo Nau area, followed by relaxing on the upper deck as your cruise continues to glide past the enchanting views of Ba Hang Fishing Village, Dog Islet, and many others.
When you are almost back to the harbor your cruise will have a fruit carving demonstration and you can join in on a fun class to learn to cook your own Vietnamese dish. before enjoy a scrumptious local lunch onboard.
Now that you have arrived back at the dock you will disembark the cruise, and make your way back to Hanoi. once in Hanoi you will check in to your hotel, perfect place for a good overnight stay after a day of activity.
Day 6
Sapa: Enjoy an exceptional trip
Discover the Beauty of Sapa on Your Vietnam Day Tour
Start your day with a fulfilling breakfast and check out from the hotel to continue on your way to the mountainous town of Sapa.
Once you reach Sapa, you can choose to stay in a hotel, hostel or even a homestay – the choice is up to you! In whichever form of accommodation you choose, you will be served a meal before heading out to enjoy an afternoon of sightseeing.
With numerous decisions to make, your next adventure continues with your first walk to Lao Chai. You will be taken to explore Tavan and Giang Ta Chai Villages, and the highlights are the opportunity to get close to the daily lives of local ethnic communities, the amazing rice terraces and scenery you get to see on the way. As described in your Sapa Vietnam itinerary you will also be able to see ancient rock formations, with inscriptions that are not easy to explain. But more incredibly you will see the "Bridge to the Clouds" which spans the Muong Hoa stream. Once your walk is finished at Giang Ta Chai Village, you will make your way back to Sapa - and stop in a local restaurant for a tasty dinner before you go for an overnight stay.

Day 7
Hanoi: A day at Vietnamese marvels
Return to Hanoi on your penultimate day on your trip to North Vietnam
Start your day with a filling breakfast before checking out of your hotel. Today's adventure will include a trip to Cat Cat Village, a culturally preserved village first settled in the 19th century by ethnic minorities; the Black H'Mong. While there, you will see the Hydropower Station, enjoy a great view of a waterfall, and have the opportunity to try your hand at traditional weaving, silver carving, hand crafting agricultural tools, and others.
After some personal immersion into traditional culture, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. You will have adequate time to shop for souvenirs and local handicrafts. After this, you will transfer back to Hanoi. You will check back into your hotel and enjoy a good night's sleep.
Day 8
Hanoi: Departure back home
Farewell to Vietnam!
After your last breakfast in Vietnam, check out of your hotel. After this, you will make your way to the international airport for your homebound flight with some wonderful memories of a great trip!
