Get ready to explore the natural beauty and unique culture of Meghalaya. This trip takes you through some amazing spots, starting with the peaceful Elephant Falls – a beautiful two-tiered waterfall tucked away in green forest surroundings. You’ll also get to walk across the Living Root Bridge in Riwai Village, an incredible structure made from the roots of fig trees by the local Khasi people – it’s even recognized by UNESCO. The journey also includes a visit to the Kamakhya Devi Temple, one of the important Shakti Peethas, where people come to worship the goddess of fertility and power. And of course, no trip to Meghalaya is complete without seeing Nohkalikai Falls near Cherrapunji – the tallest waterfall in India, with amazing views all around. Itineraries

DAY 1

Arrival in Guwahati | Transfer to Shillong | Leisure Day

Welcome to Meghalaya! Once you reach Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, our team will be there to pick you up and head straight to Shillong. The drive is super scenic – you’ll pass by lush green hills, waterfalls, and beautiful landscapes. On the way, we’ll stop at Umiam Lake – it’s a peaceful spot where you can relax and take in the views. After that, we continued towards Shillong. Once you reach, check in to your hotel and unwind. In the evening, if you're up for it, you can go explore a bit – maybe visit Phan Nonglait Park which is nice and green with a little deer park inside. Or head to Spread Eagle Falls – it’s a cool spot and the waterfall actually looks like an eagle’s wings. The rest of the time is yours to chill.

DAY 2

Transfer to Cherrapunji | Visit Elephant Falls | Cherrapunji Sightseeing Tour

After checking out, we’ll head towards Cherrapunji. On the way, we’ll stop at the famous Elephant Falls – a beautiful two-level waterfall surrounded by greenery, perfect for some quick photos and fresh air. From there, we continued the drive to Cherrapunji. Once we reach, it’s time to explore! First up is the Seven Sisters Falls – a stunning waterfall that flows down in seven separate streams. Then we’ll visit Nohkalikai Falls – the tallest waterfall in India, and honestly, the view is just breathtaking. After that, get ready to walk through the Mawsmai Caves – they’ve got some cool limestone formations inside. We’ll also stop by the Arwah Caves, which are a bit more offbeat and known for having ancient fossils in the walls. After a day full of nature and adventure, we’ll drop you at your hotel in Cherrapunji – check in, relax, and enjoy the evening.

 

DAY 3

Trekking at Nongriat Double Decker Root Bridge

Today starts with a drive to Tyrna Village, the starting point for a fun and adventurous trek. From here, get ready to hike all the way to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge. It's an amazing sight – the bridge is made completely out of living roots by the local Khasi people over many years. If you’re up for it and feeling energetic, you can also hike further to Rainbow Falls (optional and on your own). After all the trekking and exploring, we’ll head back to your hotel in Cherrapunji so you can relax and rest for the night.

DAY 4

Transfer to Dawki via Mawlynnong | Trek to Single Decker Living Root Bridge

After checking out from the hotel, we’ll start our drive to Dawki. On the way, we’ll stop at Mawlynnong – it’s known as the cleanest village in all of Asia, and it really lives up to the name. From there, we’ll head to nearby Riwai Village where you can take a short trek to see the beautiful Single Decker Living Root Bridge. There’s also a cool spot there called the Balancing Rock – pretty unique! You’ll also get to meet and interact with the local Khasi people and get a feel of their lifestyle. After that, we’ll continue the journey to Dawki. Once we reach, you’ll visit the famous Umngot River – it’s so clear you can actually see the riverbed! Later, we’ll drop you at your hotel in Dawki. Check in, relax, and enjoy your stay for the night.

DAY 5

Transfer to Shillong | Visit Krang Shuri Waterfalls and Laitlum Canyon

After checking out from the hotel, we’ll start our drive to Dawki. On the way, we’ll stop at Mawlynnong – it’s known as the cleanest village in all of Asia, and it really lives up to the name. DAY 6

Departure Day

In the morning, after you check out from the hotel, we’ll drive you to the Kamakhya Devi Temple – one of the oldest and most important Shakti Peethas. It’s a really special place, known for its powerful energy and ancient Tantric traditions. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya and is a must-visit before ending the trip. After the temple visit, we’ll drop you at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your journey back home. That’s the end of your trip with us – hope you had a great time!
